Cybergun FNH FNX-45 Tactical GBB Pistol

design

Here is my latest review, on one of the best gas blow back pistols I’ve ever used:

I must confess, I have not used a side arm for about 10 months now. The reason behind this is because I wasn’t finding in the market a gun that would make want to have one. Especially most of the games I have been playing during the last 8-9 months were in woodlands where you usually can manage without a sidearm.

However, recently I started going to some more CQB sites, such as Blitz CQB (which I reviewed here) and started to feel the need to have a gun for more close quarter situations. Or when I’m using my DMR, the Ares M110 SASS.

The trigger moment happened when I saw the recent release of the FNX-45 by Cybergun. I knew I had to have that gun!

Target TR02 – New red dot available from JJAirsoft

jjsights

JJ Airsoft have been know by their quality scopes and red dots, and now they have just added the Target TR02 red dots to their offer.

These are very compact Aimpoint replicas which are available with many different mounts, such as the 45″ offset mount and others and with or without killflash.

The colour options are also quite welcome, since they’ll be available both in black and tan.

MadBull Airsoft Gen2 Gemtech G5 Tracer Unit Review

design

A good suppressor doesn’t need to be just an aesthetic improvement to your AEG. Thanks to MadBull Airsoft and the Gemtech G5, which is a replica of the actual G5 from Gemtech, it is just that kind of replica suppressor that actually does more than just make you gun look nice and tactical.

This mock suppressor also has a tracer ability which is one of most fun things to do with an Airsoft gun!

When you add the tracer ability to a suppressor It can be very useful to run on night games since you actually see where you’re shooting, and tis also applies to indoor CQB games.

So let’s see how easy it is to use and run on a standard M4 AEG, and also how well built it is.

BOLT M16A4 BRSS Heavy Recoil AEG Review

bolt_m16a4_brss_heavy_review

I recently had the opportunity to review the new Bolt BRSS Heavy recoil and I can tell you it was even better than my expectations in terms of recoil:

Technology keeps on improving and Airsoft also keeps on moving forward thanks to innovative and bold manufacturers such as Bolt Airsoft. Of course that Bolt is not the only brand in the market when it comes to electric recoil. And I’ve heard many say that the likes of Magpul and Tokyo Marui have a slightly better recoil experience.

However, having tried myself the latter I was sure that wasn’t the case, and now with the new BRSS it would be interesting to see if Bolt Airsoft were actually able to improve on what was already quite good, and make it the uncontested market leader in this segment.

So without further ado let’s start going through the new Bolt BRSS Heavy Recoil.

ForceCore Industries Spectre SMG AEG

fc_spectre_smg_review

Looking for something completely different? The Spectre M4, although bearing the “M4” in its designation has nothing to do with the M4 platform. In fact it couldn’t be further from the latter. This Italian made sub machine gun has a very unique look to it thanks to its compactness and pistol like design.

The real steel version or should I say versions, since there are several, has a polymer body and stamped steel receiver, and in some cases a folding stock or a suppressor.

The Spectre was of course design specifically for CQB engagements and the Airsoft version is of course, no different since due to its technical characteristics is really not advisable to use it anywhere else rather than in a close quarter scenarios and so you can have some real fun with it!

Review: Electro River Lithium Polymer Batteries

R4

Lipo’s can be so much fun! But you have to take good care of them:

Lipo batteries can be very nice, especially if we’re talking about 11.1v Lipos which just increase the ROF (rate of fire) in most airsoft guns like crazy thanks to their high voltage. But at the same time they can be very temperamental and hard to manage. Especially if you’re not hands on, and a…

Both replicas can be found here: http://bit.ly/1EghyIW

They have a long version and a CQB version, both featuring the programmable EFCS gearbox from ARES.

Review: Arma Tech Li-Poly Battery Packs

bat1

Hi guys and girls,

Here is my review on a couple of Lipo batteries from SpecShop:

I was given the opportunity to review a couple of Li-poly batteries from Arma Tech by Specshop, the 11.1v 20c 1000mAh and the 7.4v 25c 3300mAh. It was really great timing as I was looking for another battery for my Scorpion EVO and a battery for an AK47 that I have now as a lender/backup weapon.

MY GOALS

What I want to achieve for the EVO are basically 4 goals: 1) get another battery pack since I only have one that works with this gun (having only one is quite short at a full day game); 2) increase the rate of fire; 3) have a battery that will last a bit longer than the battery I have at the moment, since the LiFe battery I have only has 750mAh capacity; and 4) and finally use the battery voltage recommended by ASG.

As for the AK I just want a battery pack I could fit into the gun and leave it there throughout the game and not worry about it. At least until the game ends! And whether I will lend it or use it, I do not want to have to swap it, no matter how much I shoot.

ASG Scorpion EVO 3 A1 Review

ASG, Scorpion EVO 3 A1, Review, Operator7, Airsoft, AEG,

ASG, Scorpion EVO 3 A1, Review, Operator7, Airsoft, AEG,

This is probably one of the AEG’s that I had no clue what I was going to get and I was really in for a very, very nice surprise!

First launched in 2009 by gun manufacturer Česká Zbrojovka from Czech Republic to replace the original Scorpion CZ, it is now licensed and produced in its Airsoft version by ASG (Action Sport Games), the CZ Scorpion EVO 3 A1 is a modern submachine gun with fully polymer frame.

The new design means there are no traces of the old Scorpion. This results in a completely different and futuristic design, but more importantly an unmatched ergonomics.

This means the gun is quite easy to operate and most of the controls are ambidextrous, such as the fire selector, charging handle and magazine release button. However, there is one exception, and that is the bolt release lever which is placed on the left hand side of the gun. The sling hook can be positioned on any side and you can even get another one to have it on both sides.
