Ares Armor – Combat XII Pack

Published on July 18, 2013 by in News, Products

Ares.Armor-022410

Originally designed for a Marine Sniper Platoon the Combat XII Pack offers a lightweight, viable solution for short ranged patrol operations. Constructed of 1000D Cordura fabric no compromise was made on strength and durability yet the Combat XII Pack weighs it at only 25.9 ounces! The Combat XII Pack is capable of holding six 5.56 magazines or four of the 7.62×59 SASS Mags. There are two general purpose pouches on the rear of the pack that are “buddy” accessible from either side while the pack is worn. The main compartment is designed to hold several field striped MREs and either two 100 oz hydration bladders or 1 bladder and a 117 Gulf. For lightweight loads (25 lb. and under) The Combat XII features a unique direct to body armor wear system that allows the wearer’s arms full range of motion .This system enhances the users ability to more naturally move through a combat environment. Included for heavier loads, the Combat XII comes with shoulder straps that can be worn normally. Molle has been added to the sides and rear of the pack to allow the user to add or remove pouches based upon the current mission profile.

Combat XII 3

This system is perfect for short-range, foot mobile R&S style missions where keeping the weight down and mobility high is essential. This pack is also very useful for Point Men or those in leadership positions such as Platoon Commanders, Squad Leaders or Team Leaders that must constantly be moving from position to position throughout the duration of an operation.

There is a saying that goes around in the Marines regarding packs “The more room you have in your pack, the more stuff you can find to put in it.” This pack has more than enough room to take what you need and leave behind the nonsense you don’t to the POG’s.

As always Ares Armor offers a lifetime time guarantee on all of their products.

The Ares Armor – Combat XII Pack is available in Coyote Brown, Black, OD Green, Multicam, A-TACS FG and A-TACS  AU for more information visit http://aresarmor.com

ClawGear New Range for 2013

Published on May 3, 2013 by in News, Products

Capturar2

ClawGear have been through na internal renovation process that includes na brand refreshment and a whole new product line for 2013.

In case you don’t remember, I had the opportunity to review a Combat Shrit from this brand at Popular Airsoft, and despite some minor issues the it was a very interesting piece of gear very reasonably priced.

Now it seems that ClawGear are betting on improving their gear design and materials, which now include Cordura fabric, RSX 1207 fabric and other high end materials.

Capturar

This will most definitely have a good impact on the final product quality as it also has in the final price according to the catalog you can find at their website.

Also from the catalog it seems that they moved away from clone camo patterns and costumers will now be able to buy their products in the most popular camos such as Multicam, A-TACS, and many more.

Review: Invader Gear Para Smock Everglade

See on Scoop.itMy Airsoft Reviews

Operator7‘s insight:

Have you ever heard of Invader Gear? Well, until a few weeks ago I hadn’t, but thanks to Combatshop.nl, who invited me to review this great jacket, I now know one of their products: the Para Smock Everglade.  This seems to be a new brand that somehow has something to do with Claw Gear (a brand I already had contact with last year).

As for the product itself, it’s a piece of gear that’s great for winter and those cold and possibly rainy days you might face on the field or say when hiking.

Anyway, this product was kind of a surprise for me, so let’s find out why:

A-TACS FG Dytac Magazines at eHobbyAsia

Published on July 9, 2012 by in News

eHobbyAsia have posted a photo on their Facebook showing us an ATACS FG M4 AEG Magazine in the wild.

The photo which is much better for judging the camo than those taken by Dytac shows how nice the camo looks on the mag.

Altough they don’t have this product yet on their catalog you should expect it to be on the same price range as the Dytac invader M4 Magazines in MC.

One questions still subsists: how long and how well will the mag keep the printed layer after some drops and a few rough Airsoft games.

In case you have on of these, please let us know your thoughts.
