Cybergun FNH FNX-45 Tactical GBB Pistol

design

Here is my latest review, on one of the best gas blow back pistols I’ve ever used:

I must confess, I have not used a side arm for about 10 months now. The reason behind this is because I wasn’t finding in the market a gun that would make want to have one. Especially most of the games I have been playing during the last 8-9 months were in woodlands where you usually can manage without a sidearm.

However, recently I started going to some more CQB sites, such as Blitz CQB (which I reviewed here) and started to feel the need to have a gun for more close quarter situations. Or when I’m using my DMR, the Ares M110 SASS.

The trigger moment happened when I saw the recent release of the FNX-45 by Cybergun. I knew I had to have that gun!

Target TR02 – New red dot available from JJAirsoft

jjsights

JJ Airsoft have been know by their quality scopes and red dots, and now they have just added the Target TR02 red dots to their offer.

These are very compact Aimpoint replicas which are available with many different mounts, such as the 45″ offset mount and others and with or without killflash.

The colour options are also quite welcome, since they’ll be available both in black and tan.

Specna Arms SA-V04 KeyMod 9” Carbine

receiver

Specna Arms hasn’t been in the market for long, but it’s a brand that is quickly turning a lot of heads, especially when it comes to its quick spring change system to popular M4 AEGs. But apart from this I didn’t know much more about this brand and the quality of their products.

When it comes to price, it’s a surprise to see full metal M4s at the price point that Gunfire have them of around £186/€244. Especially when you throw in the quick spring change system, it provides good value.

It kind of makes me wonder: did Specna Arms cut any corners to be able to be this competitive? Is the quality of the replica out of the box any good? And performance wise, at that price I’m sure there needs some improvements.

So let’s see how my experience with my first ever Specna Arms was!

JJ Airsoft XPS 3-2 & XPS 2-Z Red Dot Sights Review

jjairsoft_eotech_xps_review_02

Recently I received the JJ Airsoft XPS Red dot sight in two very similar versions, but with very distinctive features: the XPS 3-2 and the XPS 2-Z. I had reviewed EOTech style sights in the past from different brands and even JJ Airsoft, and most were quite a mix where usually the lenses were so tinted you couldn’t see much when indoors, or you would get to much reflection.

Also, the construction quality is a also a known issue with many clones, which flood the market giving a bad reputation even for the best EOTech replicas.

With so many EOTech clones choice in market right, how will a manufacturer make a difference? Well, the answer is in the quality of build and materials and also in widening the number of offerings.

JJ Airsoft is trying to do just that, but exactly how does that make it stand out from the crowd and benefit us? And just how good are these XPS holosights?

To find out more, just keep on reading.

MadBull Airsoft Gen2 Gemtech G5 Tracer Unit Review

design

A good suppressor doesn’t need to be just an aesthetic improvement to your AEG. Thanks to MadBull Airsoft and the Gemtech G5, which is a replica of the actual G5 from Gemtech, it is just that kind of replica suppressor that actually does more than just make you gun look nice and tactical.

This mock suppressor also has a tracer ability which is one of most fun things to do with an Airsoft gun!

When you add the tracer ability to a suppressor It can be very useful to run on night games since you actually see where you’re shooting, and tis also applies to indoor CQB games.

So let’s see how easy it is to use and run on a standard M4 AEG, and also how well built it is.

BOLT M16A4 BRSS Heavy Recoil AEG Review

bolt_m16a4_brss_heavy_review

I recently had the opportunity to review the new Bolt BRSS Heavy recoil and I can tell you it was even better than my expectations in terms of recoil:

Technology keeps on improving and Airsoft also keeps on moving forward thanks to innovative and bold manufacturers such as Bolt Airsoft. Of course that Bolt is not the only brand in the market when it comes to electric recoil. And I’ve heard many say that the likes of Magpul and Tokyo Marui have a slightly better recoil experience.

However, having tried myself the latter I was sure that wasn’t the case, and now with the new BRSS it would be interesting to see if Bolt Airsoft were actually able to improve on what was already quite good, and make it the uncontested market leader in this segment.

So without further ado let’s start going through the new Bolt BRSS Heavy Recoil.

5.11 Tactical Reactor Full Zip Hoodie Review

511_reactor_review

Now that winter is coming and we need to wear more layers in order to get keep warm, it’s important to choose the right gear. The thinking behind me wanting to get the 5.11 Reactor Hoodie was that I was looking more at how could I keep the tacticoolness not just during the game, but also outside the venues and sites I play.

So I was looking to get a piece of garment that I could use inconspicuously even when walking around London without being stopped or flagged because I was using some a uniform or something that is far from normal “civilian” clothes.

These would be the coolest Airsoft targets

Published on August 17, 2015 by in News, Products

$_57

Everyone dreams about shooting zombies, but its rather hard when there aren’t many yet laying around.

Well that could just be the end of the zombie draught, since there’s a new type of zombie targets which could very well be used with Airsoft guns: Zombie Targets.

Although these have only been tested so far in Archery, they would probably work quite well with our Airsoft guns and bring us endless hours of fun to our homes (which are usually not very target rich) and even to Airsoft fields and events where the use of these targets in themed games, and virtually any type of game you can think of, can also be used.

$_57 (1)

The targets are very well devised and some of them even have hair, shirts, ties, and even fake blood!

Prices are still range from £35 per head and can go up to £160 on a head and full torso.

Based in Exeter in the UK, Zombie Targets accept Paypal payments and are also present on Ebay and Facebook, so go ahead and check out their page and get some zombie kills!
