KRYTAC, KRISS Group’s new brand dedicated to recreational shooting and professional training, makes worldwide product premier at IWA 2014.
March 7, 2014 – Nuremberg, Germany – KRISS Group reveals products and pricing under the newly established KRYTAC, its latest brand dedicated to airsoft, non-lethal training and .22 caliber firearms. KRYTAC has taken advantage of KRISS Group’s experience in modern weapons design and precision manufacturing to present six new competitive AEG airsoft models during IWA Outdoor Classics 2014.
The Trident M4 Series, based on the AR platform, will be available in four different models. The Trident M4 PDW is a compact CQB AEG with a 5.5” barrel, 5” free floating key mod hand guard, and adjustable wire stock with an MSRP of $315 USD. The Trident M4 CRB is a short barreled carbine with a 10.5” barrel, 10” free floating key mod hand guard, and adjustable KRYTAC stock with an MSRP of $315 USD. The Trident M4 SPR is a mid-length carbine with a 14.5” barrel, 13” free floating key mod hand guard, and adjustable KRYTAC stock with an MSRP of $335 USD. Finally, the Trident M4 SDP, which will only be available to the international market, is a subcompact AEG with a 5.5” barrel, 5” hand guard, no stock, and an MSRP of $255 USD.
In the heart of every Trident M4 is KRYTAC’s reinforced 8mm ball bearing gearbox with integrated MOSFET to regulate battery current and protect trigger contacts. Additional gearbox features include a modular spring guide system that will allow the spring to be changed without complete disassembly. The fire selector is ambidextrous and when ‘Safe’ is selected the anti-reverse latch is triggered to decompress the spring. Also integrated into the gearbox is the M4’s imitation bolt lock and release feature.
Two additional AEGs modeled after the SR-47 and Shrike LMG will also be included into KRYTAC’s initial product launch. The SR-47 is an AR based carbine platform that utilizes AK style magazines. It will feature a 16” barrel with a 10” free floating railed hand guard and have an MSRP of $315 USD. The Trident LMG (Shrike based model) is a lightweight belt fed machine gun that features a 14.5” barrel and 3,500 rounds box magazine with an MSRP of $499 USD.
The first wave of products will be available in the United States through KRYTAC authorized re-sellers in May of this year. Worldwide deliveries of KRYTAC are scheduled starting September 2014.
